Overview :
The Internal Audit Department is responsible for reviewing and testing accounting and financial activities to provide a continuing appraisal of the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls. The Department provides informed and constructive analysis of existing and proposed procedural and operational functions by conducting its own audits as well as working with the Illinois Auditor General, its staff and contracted entities.

Education and Work Experience:
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of four (4) years of college. Preferred candidates will also possess a minimum of five years of financial auditing and governmental accounting experience.
